Alyssa Vitrano

Founder

Alyssa Vitrano has over two decades of experience in brand and content marketing at brands, editorial publishers, and agencies.

She helped form the first global content marketing capability at IBM and led all branding for the AI-powered global marketing technology company Acoustic, which included brand purpose, naming, visual identity, content strategy, and social media.

Her experience spans strategy at Digitas and Mindshare, digital development at IMG, news production at MTV, and editorial strategy at Glamour and YM magazines. She brings this varied experience to the brands she’s worked with, which include American Express, Target, Unilever, Cadillac, Motorola, Kraft, and HP.

Having also formally studied wine for over a decade, she created the wine brand grapefriend which blends wine knowledge with pop culture and has a highly engaged following on social media. That’s actually where the name Free Run comes from — in winemaking, free run juice is what naturally flows out of grapes when they’re stacked on each other waiting to be pressed. It’s pure, fresh, and considered to be the highest quality. And that’s what we aim for in our branding and content.
